Our Angus Chuck Steak is a favourite for all slow cooking dishes. It comes from the upper shoulder and lower neck of the Steer and is an economic choice when it comes to winter comfort food. 

Cooking Instructions

As this is quite a lean cut, we recommend cooking with a low and slow method - approx. 4-6 hours in your slow cook or crock pot. This will keep the meat as tender as possible, as well as bring out all it's natural flavours.

If you do wish to pan fry, or grill - we recommend going on a high heat for a short period of time to avoid drying out the inside.

Marinate first with your favourite rub or marinade, or season with a simple salt and pepper.
