The Rump is from the back of the animal but not quite as far back as you might think – there is still the Topside and Silverside right on the back. These are commonly called Round Steak in other parts of the world.

The Whole Rump is actually made up of three distinct muscles, unlike the Tenderloin, Rib Eye or Striploin which is just one.  The Rump is really special...a Pitmaster's delight.

Cooking Instructions

Try separating it out yourself (you can check out how to do this online) and you’ll be amazed at the different types of cuts that you can enjoy from this.

Pay special attention to the Rump Cap or Picanha and give this some love on the BBQ.
